My first experience with research was during my internship with Spartan Bioscience, where I worked on developing a product for Legionella pneumophila quantification. I became fascinated with immunology in Dr. Korneluk’s lab at the CHEO Research Institute, where I had the opportunity to work on cancer immunotherapy. I am excited to continue pursuing my passion for immunology as an M.Sc. student in the Richer lab. My project focuses on the interplay between CD4 and CD8 T cells and how these interactions contribute to the function of long-term memory T cells. I am excited to see how better understanding these mechanisms can have translational impacts such as in vaccines and immunotherapy. Outside of the lab, I enjoy yoga, dancing and outdoorsy adventures!
