Research Interests
My passion for research started to develop during CEGEP where I conducted a research project aiming to analyze bacterial levels in a variety of water samples. After been exposed to this first research opportunity I knew I needed to keep going in this path. I started volunteering at the Richer Lab during my second year of undergrad and continued my research during honours and now as a research assistant. My research focuses on further understanding the mechanism of memory CD8 T cell generation and re-activation. We are currently analyzing a transcription factor which seems to play a role during CD8 T cell memory generation. Furthermore, we are also investigating the mechanism of memory CD8 T cell accumulation following re-infection. Apart from science and medicine, I also love to read, dance ballet and sew dresses for kids in countries of need. Check out our website Dressing With Love.
